Week 18 : $19k and counting down

Yesterday my friends and I went to see "Gone Girl" - If you haven't read the book, I suggest you do it now and watch the movie. It's such a nice break for a Friday night instead of driving in traffic.

This weekend we will be going to a CHARGER GAME! Go Chargers! It was a part of Jays birthday present to me along with a new jersey to wear to the game! I can't wait !!!

Current Debts:

Its payday! Guess what... after all my calculations I am now under $20k!!! Whooooooooooo! It looks like I paid a lot on the Personal Loan, but this was actually saved from the last paycheck because the payment gets automatically taken out on the 2nd of every month.

I just need to keep this momentum... Hopefully I can be hovering around $15k by the time the year is over.

    1. Thanks Laura! The game was fun although we were having a mini heat wave over here - just drank a lot of liquids ;) The movie was great - I highly recommend. It lived up to the book =)

  3. Great job on the debt repayment, we are hovering around the same amounts for my personal student loan, it will be a race to the finish, but I think we both win.

    1. We have been going to the movies a lot more lately since its been super hot out here. Matinee is still $6-7 so I was surprised paying this much.

The movie was so close to the book and thats what I liked about it. Although, they shouldve played someone else as Desi... I still see Neil Patrick as Barney =/

  5. Movie ticket prices is one of the reasons I'd rather hit up a redbox...but there are some movies I'd rather see in the movie theater. We normally do a matinee, where in my city the tickets cost about $4!

  6. San Diego is one of my favorite places in the world and I'd live there if it wasn't so much more expensive that where we live now. I can't wait to see Gone Girl, but probably will because we only seem to go to the theater for Disney movies!
